Raise the Roof?

The Roof is Raised!!

The work on the Church tower and roof is at an end

What We Raised

The estimate final cost is £225,351 including fees and V.A.T. To cover the cost of
re-roofing the whole church and for further work on the Tower.

‘English Heritage’, having considered our well presented application for grant aid, agreed to fund 70% to give us up to £157,700 leaving a shortfall of £67,651 which we have now nearly raised and.

We would like to offer our heart felt thanks to all who have helped to make this possible.

Grants towards the church repairs have been obtained as follows:

We also reprinting the Church History and gave supporters the opportunity to ’buy a slate’.
