  • Skipton Castle....Medieval Castle very well preserved, entrance fee.
  • Bancroft Mill engine Barnoldswick one of the few surviving steam mill engines also museum.

  • Our village is well served by footpaths, taking you through farmland and woodland, along river banks and offering splendid views of the Ribble Valley and the Yorkshire Dales.
  • Gisburn Circular Walk, a 4 to 5 hour walk through countryside surrounding the village, includes part of the Ribble Way.
  • Ribble Way, a long distance walk following the course of the River Ribble.
  • Salthill Quarry geological trail and nature reserve
  • Gisburn Forest/Stocks Reservoir, bird watching, walks and cycle trails.
